We are proud to offer low staff-to-child ratios - 1:5 for infants, 1:7 for toddlers, and 1:12 for preschoolers. Center Programs

Infant

Infant (6 Weeks - 18 Months)

Our infant program provides a warm, nurturing environment where caregivers form close bonds with babies, ensuring a secure and trusting relationship. Each infant follows their own schedule, with individualized care routines for feeding, sleeping, and play. Our educators support early development through sensory exploration, attachment-based play, and language-rich interactions, including the introduction of basic American Sign Language (ASL).

Toddler

Toddler (18 Months - 3 Years)

Pre-Schooler

Preschool (3-4 Years)

Play-based learning helps children develop problem-solving skills, creativity, and social connections.

Before & After School Care

Before & After School Care (5-12 Years)

Center Director

Laura Plymire has been in early childhood education for 22 years, and at Kids Country since June of 2025. She’s returned to Kids Country in this new role following time as a lead teacher from 2006-2008. She also has a bachelor’s degree in human development & family studies.

Her favorite part about being a center director is building relationships with the children and families.

Laura has been married since 2010 and has two teenage boys who love music and band. She loves spending her free time
